Look Behind the Curtain

Well the shower curtain..

Some projects require a little patience before the final reveal, and this primary bathroom renovation is a perfect example! This space is undergoing an almost complete gut renovation, giving us the opportunity to rethink the layout, make better use of the existing footprint, and create a bathroom that feels both functional and full of personality.

One of the biggest goals for this renovation is finding the right balance between the features the homeowners want and the space we have to work with. We're working to incorporate a bathtub while still maintaining a generously sized shower. Making both elements work comfortably within the existing footprint takes thoughtful planning and careful consideration of the layout. A successful renovation isn't always about adding more square footage. It's about making the most of what is already there and ensuring every inch serves a purpose.

Function is important, but a bathroom should have character, too! Intriguing tile selections will bring personality and visual interest into the space, helping this bathroom feel more distinctive than an ordinary space. Tile is one of those design elements that can completely change the feeling of a room. Pattern, texture, color, and variation can add depth and create a focal point without overwhelming the overall design. We're excited to see these selections come together as the project progresses.

The renovation progress photos offer a glimpse behind the scenes and show just how much work goes into transforming a space. Right now, it's all about the planning, construction, and decisions that will ultimately make the finished bathroom feel cohesive and intentional. It's not always the prettiest stage of a project, but it's where the foundation for a successful transformation takes shape!

This primary bathroom is still a work in progress, but the vision is coming together. With a more functional layout, room for both a bathtub and a spacious shower, and tile that brings a little extra personality, this space is on its way to becoming a beautiful, space to relax. We're hoping to share the finished transformation around the holidays, so stay tuned! We had someone trying to sneak a peek, so thought it was time to share!

Sometimes the most exciting part of design is seeing the potential in a space before anyone else can see the finished result. This is one project we're especially looking forward to revealing.
