There is something special about designing a home surrounded by the natural beauty of Colorado, and this newest project has us especially excited! Located in the heart of the Vail Valley along the Eagle River, this mountain home offers incredible views, beautiful natural surroundings, and the perfect opportunity to bring the outdoors inside. This project is all about furnishing the entire home and creating spaces that feel warm, comfortable, and welcoming. With so many beautiful windows throughout the house, the views are already a major part of the design. We want to complement that scenery rather than compete with it.

The Colorado landscape is providing plenty of inspiration for the furnishings and overall color palette. Think warm browns, earthy greens, muted blues, and natural textures that reflect the surrounding mountains, trees, and river. A combination of wood, leather, beautiful fabrics, and layered finishes will bring depth and warmth to the home. These natural materials help create that relaxed mountain feel while keeping the spaces polished and inviting. The goal is to create a home that feels connected to its surroundings, where the colors and textures work together with the incredible views just outside the windows.

With family and friends gathering in the mountains, the guest rooms are an important part of this project. Each bedroom will be designed to feel like a home away from home, offering comfort, personality, and thoughtful details that make guests feel welcome.

One of the sweetest spaces will be the bunk room designed with the grandbabies in mind! This is always such a fun opportunity to create a space that feels a little more playful while still tying into the overall design of the home. It's easy to imagine the memories that will be made in this room!

Since this project includes full furnishings, every room is an opportunity to create a cohesive look while giving each space its own purpose and personality. From comfortable gathering areas to inviting bedrooms, the furnishings will be selected to support how the family lives, relaxes, and entertains. Layering materials, incorporating natural finishes, and choosing pieces that feel both beautiful and comfortable will help make this mountain home feel collected rather than overly designed.

This project is still in the planning and selection stages, but the vision is coming together, and there is so much to look forward to! We anticipate a spring installation and can't wait to see all the furnishings, textures, and colors come together in this beautiful Colorado setting. Between the incredible views, the cozy guest rooms, and that special bunk room for the grandbabies, this is going to be a fun one to bring to life. Stay tuned for more updates as this Colorado mountain home takes shape!
