Black is the New Neutral

It has been said that every woman needs a little black dress, but what about a little black wall? While the benefits of a LBD and a LBW are different they are still both necessities.

Black is sleek and adds a layer of sophistication to the room, and of course it goes with everything. No matter the style of your room, black walls can fit in perfectly. Thinking that it will be too Dracula-esque? Natural light will keep your room from looking like a dungeon. Other lighter pieces such as furniture or artwork can brighten up the space as well.

Not ready to take a leap? Try one wall. Just like with any new adventure, just stick your feet in, to see if you love it. That one wall can make your room feel larger.

Just remember, this may not be the trend for every room. A room that does not get natural light, would not be the best choice.
