Your outdoor space is a room in your home, it is time to treat it that way! One of the hallmarks of a well-designed home is a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. By thoughtfully coordinating colors, you can create a cohesive look that extends from the rest of the home to your patio.

If your indoor sofa has cushions in shades of blue and gray, opt for outdoor chair cushions in the same hues. This will help create a visual link between the spaces. This can be anything from cushions on a chaise lounge, decorative pillows, outdoor curtains, to the decorative pots.

Patterns and textures can add depth and interest to your decor. When coordinating colors, consider how patterns and textures will interact between your indoor and outdoor spaces. Even if you opt for more neutral colors, add a pop of a color in your outdoor space as well. This can be in a outdoor rug, pillows, or even an umbrella. But don't just rely on your plants to be the pop of color outside!

We are loving the cohesive color palette from the living room to the patio. This beautifully integrated look will have you enjoying every space of your home.
