This season at High Point Market, one thing was impossible to ignore, color is officially back. After years of softer neutrals and understated palettes dominating interiors, the design world is embracing spaces that feel expressive, confident, and full of personality.

From showroom to showroom, bold color palettes made a strong statement. Deep jewel tones, earthy reds, saturated greens, and unexpected combinations brought energy and individuality into every space. Rather than feeling overwhelming, these colors were thoughtfully layered, creating rooms that felt inviting, curated, and deeply personal.

Texture played an equally important role throughout market. Rich wood grains, woven materials, boucle, velvet, stone, and handcrafted finishes added warmth and tactility to nearly every collection. These layered textures create the kind of visual interest that makes a room feel complete and lived in.

What stood out most was the overall feeling behind the designs. Spaces felt more personal, expressive, and authentic. The focus is no longer on creating perfectly uniform interiors, but on designing homes that reflect the people living in them.

Upholstery was another standout this season. Sofas, chairs, and benches became focal points rather than background pieces, featuring sculptural silhouettes, rich fabrics, and striking details. Statement upholstery is no longer reserved for formal spaces it’s becoming part of everyday living in a way that still feels approachable and livable.

We also saw a major shift toward interiors with more depth and character. Rooms felt collected instead of perfectly matched, with designers embracing contrast, texture, and unique combinations that give a space soul. It’s a move away from overly minimal spaces and toward homes that tell a story.

One space we particularly loved? The Regina Andrews showroom and the use of Sherwin Williams Cyber Space Blue.

We’re back from High Point Market with fresh inspiration, exciting new sources, and plenty of ideas we can’t wait to bring into upcoming projects. If this season proved anything, it’s that interiors are becoming warmer, bolder, and far more personal and we’re fully here for it.
