This kitchen is the perfect place where beauty meets function and every space is meant to be shared. This kitchen and scullery were designed with exactly that in mind, creating a layout that supports effortless entertaining without sacrificing style.

The open-concept kitchen serves as the heart of the home, allowing for easy flow between cooking, dining, and gathering. It’s a space where guests can linger, conversations can unfold, and everything feels connected.

Just beyond the main kitchen space, the scullery offers a hardworking extension of the kitchen perfect for prepping food, staging dishes, and keeping the main space clean and uncluttered while hosting.

Natural light pours into the kitchen, instantly bringing the space to life. It highlights every texture and finish, enhancing the warmth of the materials and making the entire room feel bright and inviting throughout the day.

A fresh take on classic subway tile sets the tone for the kitchen backsplash. Rather than a uniform finish, we chose ceramic tiles with a handcrafted quality complete with natural imperfections and subtle shade variations. This creates that “perfectly imperfect” look, adding depth and character while still honoring a timeless design element.

The countertops, done in Bianco Superiore, tie together the neutral palette beautifully. Their soft movement and tonal variation bring cohesion to the space without overpowering it, allowing the textures and finishes around them to shine.

In the scullery, we took the opportunity to introduce a bit more personality. Rice Blu handmade tile adds a rich pop of color, creating a moment that feels both intentional and playful. It’s a contrast to the main kitchen, yet still connected through the overall design story.

Together, the kitchen and scullery strike a balance between function and style—designed for hosting, built for real life, and grounded in materials that feel natural and timeless.
