When you have a small space, what is it that we always try to do? Make it look bigger! This narrow bathroom had us racking our brains for a way to make it seem large. Then we found this wallpaper, does that surprise you? This particular piece had just enough detail to give the room definition, but not too much to feel like the walls were closing in on you.
The light background of the wallpaper with the black leaves, partnered with the crown molding and the white ceiling lets the room flow from floor to ceiling. This showcases the height and distracts from the lack of width of the room. The color of the butterflies brighten the space and draws your attention to small areas instead of the whole wall. If the wallpaper was too dark or busy the space would seem smaller.
We used this large mirror to open up the small sink area, reflecting the light from the ceiling and keeping things bright. The light from the chandelier leaves no dark corners in this bathroom!

A small space doesn't need to feel small. There a lots of ways to make a room feel larger than it actually is! Play with patterns and colors to make it what you want!
