There’s something magical about sourcing design inspiration straight from the source—and few places embody classic elegance and timeless charm like London. On a recent trip across the pond, we visited Ralph Lauren Home in London, where we discovered an abundance of textures, colors, and pieces that perfectly encapsulate the English countryside aesthetic.

A deep green velvet sofa, paired with leather trim and nailhead details, sits effortlessly alongside a plaid armchair that could have come straight from a country hunting lodge. The mix of tapestry-inspired throw pillows, traditional framed art, and dark-stained wood accents create a sense of well-traveled elegance. We love the use of rich textiles like velvet, tweed, or plaid and deep color palettes; think forest green, oxblood, and navy.

The dining area was another standout moment. Anchored by a richly hued oriental rug and a dramatic brass chandelier, the space balances formality with ease. The dining chairs, with their canvas backs and leather cord lacing, add a subtle nod to equestrian style, without overpowering the refined setting. Each place setting was impeccably styled, reminding us that everyday dining can still feel elevated with the right elements.

With each step we were immersed in a world of rich textiles, polished wood tones, and layers of cozy sophistication. The setting felt more like stepping into a stately manor than a store—every corner was impeccably styled, reflecting Ralph Lauren’s signature blend of heritage and refinement.
