Long Time, No See

Many of the project we have been working on are HUGE. You may have seen this particular project in November of last year, in the blog titled "Patience". And boy has there been progress!

The last time we looked at the front of this house it was all wood and scaffolding, now the only wood you see is used to accent the front of this beautiful home. This home is full of unique and handcrafted accents, sure to inspire!
The hand crafted steel staircase never ceases to take my breath away. Flowing from the entryway to the vaulted ceiling on the family room, the steel C channel beams subtly tie the front entry to the rest of the house. The industrial feel is not overwhelming, and allows a variety of decor styles, once the dust has settled, and then promptly cleaned.

While the kitchen is still waiting on a few key appliances, the grain matched walnut cabinets are the star of the show. Beautiful, warm, contemporary an oh so classic, these cabinets simply speak for themselves. They can also be seen in the family room next to the fireplace, we are all about room flow here!
The exposed rafter beams in the kitchen and family room give the perfect contrast to an otherwise plain ceiling. This is a timeless architectural feature, that adds a touch of old world coziness. These beams not only look amazing, but are supportive as well.

As you can probably tell, we keep on theme, and incorporated live edge walnut shelves and mantel to give the fireplace some character. Also, the natural light in this room is dreamy.

In a previous post we highlighted that this is a forever home for this client, to adapt with them as they go through life. Functional, but make it cool. These elevator doors really put this house on.... another level. All jokes aside, these doors were designed to perfectly fit this home.
