We really wanted to open up this kitchen and give it a fresh look. Keeping the wood vaulting in the ceiling was a must, removing the wallpaper and adding a fresh coat of paint was the perfect solution. For the rest of the kitchen, the extra set of cabinets cut the size of the kitchen and breakfast nook, when the space should flow together. Giving the cabinet doors a more simplified design, and transitioning to hardwood floors completed the look. If you checked out the after video you can see we streamlined the house with hardwood floors throughout. Now this may seem like a huge feat, but keeping things consistent is not only adds value to your home it makes it easier to clean!
