Last week we explored the entryway, living room, and sunroom of a beautiful new home in North Carolina, designed for a client stepping into the next chapter of life. Now, we’re excited to take you through more of the home—the kitchen, dining room, half bathroom, and laundry room. These spaces that combine functionality with style, ensuring that everyday living is both convenient and timeless.

This space offers ample storage while keeping the space bright and airy. The countertops are a durable quartz boasting functionality as well as style. The breakfast nook has a set of gorgeous windows to take in the surroundings over a cup of coffee.

But the shining star of this space is the light fixture in this breakfast area. The delicate flowers are so detailed and elevate this space. Not to mention this beautiful new cabinet to display various pieces, but also add more storage. The color palette is soft and inviting and keeps a bit of the color from before. The wall separating the kitchen and the living room was opened up to allow the beautiful natural light to pour into this space.
Half bathrooms, or powder rooms, are often overlooked when it comes to design, but in this home, we saw it as an opportunity to create a small space with big impact.

A small, dark wood vanity with a marble countertop adds a touch of luxury, while the accents and decor add warmth and a sense of continuity with the rest of the home’s design. A round, gold-framed mirror hangs above the vanity, reflecting the light from the sconce above.

The dining room is designed for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. This room was once an office, but as showcased in the last post. the original dining room is now a sunroom. The wall diving the previous dining area and the living room was removed to open the space up. And with seeing how this turned out, we wouldn't have it any other way.
A statement chandelier hangs above the dining table, featuring a design that combines traditional and modern elements. The fixture’s warm glow creates an inviting atmosphere, perfect for dining and conversation. The antique pieces used in this dining room offer a charm that is hard to find and allows the family to show off their history.

The laundry room is special space, the walls are painted a fresh, crisp white, which keeps the space feeling bright and clean. Durable, easy-to-clean tile flooring was chosen for its practicality, with a pattern that adds a touch of personality to the room.
Each space in this North Carolina home has been crafted to enhance the already beautiful area and allow the client a place to breathe fresh air.
