We are so excited to show you some of our favorite holiday decorations! We tried (and failed a few times) with getting houses ready for the holidays, and we are going to share our tips and tricks!

Our first tip, ALWAYS check your lights before you do anything. Can't stress this point enough. Why do you ask? First, the tree. Second, the garland. Third, the other section of garland. Removing lights and restringing garland is not as fun as it sounds. So check, and double check you lights before you even think about hanging them. Also, all of our trees we worked with had lighting issues.

Second tip, change it up. You don't have to do things the same every year. When we were at particular house, the client wanted things a little different. After looking through her decorations, the simple solution was to change some of the colors of the decorations in the house. In previous years we used red, gold, and silver ribbon, keeping the classic feel we kept with the silver and gold. Keeping it simple definitely paid off.

Tip number three, add some whimsy! What do you love? Santas? Nutcrackers? Snowmen? Snow globes? Add it! Give your decorations a personal touch.
