Welcome, Stay Awhile

We wanted everything about his home to be new, exciting, and totally unique. And that all starts with the first thing you see, the entryway.

As you know, through the previous posts and update on this particular home, we wanted to do something different, to show off our skills and play with textures and materials. Thus this entryway was born. The lighting around the Austin Stone something new for us, we usually try to find the perfect light fixture for this part of the home, and this one is definitely easier to clean than a chandelier! The custom metal staircase was also just right for the industrial/modern look we were doing for. Not to mention being able to incorporate the metal accents throughout the rest of the house.

While the entryway hooks you, the rest of the house calls you to stay and check out every amazing feature. We love these sliding wood doors and the other wood accents. The neutrals throughout this home are heavenly. The stone fire place, metal beams, and wood ceiling features are some of our favorites! What is your favorite feature?
