The first fix in the front was opening up the home, allowing the dining room, kitchen, living room, as well as the sitting room to flow together. We also wanted to raise the recessed floor in the living room so we could keep a consistent flooring throughout the common areas.
After
Adding the doors to the kitchen gives more natural light to the space, Extra storage was also a must, installing cabinets under the countertop were a no brainer. We wanted to keep the exposed beams in the ceiling, and worked some magic to keep them after removing the built in bookshelves and dining room wall.

The previous primary bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze and included a shower and a tub. The client decided to remove the tub in order to open the bathroom and make way for a roomier (and quite dreamy) shower.
