You make lemonade! And that is exactly the case with our most recent project. Flooding can be a homeowner’s worst nightmare, leaving behind a trail of destruction and disarray. Our client saw it as an opportunity for a new beginning.

With a blank canvas, it was time to design the new space. Keeping parts of the layout that worked, like the island in the kitchen, but making it into the perfect place for preparing meals as well as hosting them. In the kitchen swapping the cabinets for ones that offered ample storage and sleek finishes. The cabinetry was designed to maximize space while maintaining a clean and contemporary look. The backsplash and countertops are the same material to have a streamlined look.

In both the living room and the kitchen using the empty space about the cabinets to really utilize all that extra room. We love the look of the updated fireplace and new mantel.

Remodeling after flooding can be a daunting task, but with a clear vision, it’s possible to turn disaster into a dream space.
