Wine Down

There is a little something we haven't told you yet about the lake house, and it will take it to another level, a basement that is. But not just any basement, a wine cellar.

This space is a wonderful addition for wine enthusiasts and their lucky guests. This particular room is not just to store a wine collection, but also to enjoy your favorite glass.

Just off of the lounge and bar you can find wine racks and shelves to store the entire collection.

The stylish and functional bar counter has enough room for preparing and serving drinks. The ample cabinet space allows for storage of glassware for all varieties of beverages as well as the spirits to go in them. When you are done enjoying your nightcap? This one stop shop has a place to wash out you glass to use the next time.

We wanted decor that complements the lake house's overall style. Soft, warm lighting can create a cozy ambiance while showcasing your wine collection. The wood shelves are similar to the ones used in the living room upstairs and the white glass cabinet doors are just like the ones found in the kitchen. We wanted the spaces to seamlessly flow together, even if you had to go down a flight of stairs to get there.
